THE WINE
The Rosazzo of the Ronco delle Betulle winery takes its name from the Rosazzo DOGC denomination, born in 2011 with the aim of protecting the great wine tradition of the territory of Rosazzo in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is a bland made at least of 50% of Friulano grapes and percentages that vary from year to year of Sauvignon and / or Pinot Blanc grapes.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and is differentiated by grape variety. Once in the cellar, the grapes are de-stemmed, cooled and left to macerate for a short period. After a soft pressing, 70% of the must ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15°C and the remaining 30% in oak barrels. the Wine rests on the lees for 8 months and is assembled and bottled the July following the harvest. A brief period follows in the cellar before being placed on the market.
THE TASTING
Intense straw yellow. The aroma is very elegant with pleasant notes of wild flowers that blend well with hints of aromatic herbs. Refined on the palate with an excellent structure and a splendid persistence. It ages very well!
FOOD PAIRINGS
It goes well with fish, risotto and vegetables. Must try with prawns and courgettes pasta.

THE WINERY
We are located in the town of Rosazzo near Manzano in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Here in 1967 the Ronco delle Betulle company was founded thanks to the vision of Giovanbattista Adami, Simone’s grandfather, who bought 7 hectares of land in this location particularly devoted to viticulture.
At the beginning of the 1980s, the reins of the company passed to Ivana Adami, daughter of the founder. Ivana certainly brought an innovative footprint to the company; she decided to bottle all the wines that until then were sold in bulk, and to expand the size of the winery by purchasing new land. Today the winery has 12 hectares of vineyards, all located on the Rosazzo hill… go to the winery page
