The Product
The Piculit Neri grappa of the riserva line “segno” (literally sign) from the Premiata Distilleria Pagura is produced with 100% pomace of Piculit Neri. It is an autochthonous red grape variety grown in the municipality of Pinzano al Tagliamento in Friuli Venezia Giulia; not to be confused with the famous white berry Picolit,
We are talking about a grappa that ages for at least 18 months in large acacia barrels. The combination of black Piculit pomace and the passage in acacia barrels give to this grappa a unique taste that can satisfy even the most demanding palates.
To be tasted preferably at room temperature; to fully appreciate the aromas and flavor we suggest you don’t use it as a base for your cocktails but to drink it straight.
