The Product
The Grappa with Sage of the Premiata Distilleria Pagura is produced with a mix of white and red pomace, of local winemakers. It is a young grappa that is infused for 60 days with sage leaves and organic lemon peels. Some sugar is also added.
We are talking about a very fresh grappa where the sage and the lemon flavor are very present in the aromas but also in the taste. We suggest you drink it very cold, it is also excellent on fruit salads and ice cream but also as a final touch on cocktails.
The Distillery
We are in Castions di Zoppola not far from Pordenone (Friuli Venezia Giulia): where the Premiata Distilleria Pagura has its headquarters. It is a wonderful family-run business that for 5 generations has been carrying on the tradition of grappa production.
