THE WINE
The Collio Bianco Riserva of the Zuani winery is a blend of Friulano, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio grapes that grow on the Ponca of the Collio in Friuli Venezia Giulia; it is a soil rich in marl and stratified sandstone of Eocene origin.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and takes place separately for each variety. Once in the cellar, the grapes are cold macerated. The winemaking takes place in steel at a controlled temperature. The wine then ages in French oak barriques.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow with golden reflections. The aroma is elegant with pleasant fruity and citrus notes that alternate with toasted hints and vanilla scents. Warm and broad on the palate with a perfect balance and correspondence between aromas and flavor. Persistent with a pleasant fruity aftertaste.
FOOD PAIRINGS
It goes well with fish and white meats but also with vegetables. Must try with sea food even raw.
