THE WINE
The Verduzzo di Cialla from the Ronchi di Cialla winery is produced with 100% Verduzzo Friulano di Cialla grapes that grow in the Cialla Valley in the municipality of Prepotto. Very suitable area for the cultivation of grapes.
THE WINEMAKING
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes are wine made in French oak barrels. Subsequently, the wine ages for about 12 months in the same barrique, and after bottling, for about 2 years in bottle.
THE TASTING
Golden yellow with amber reflections. The aroma is very elegant with pleasant apricot notes alternating with hints of acacia flowers to close with puffs of honey. Warm and elegant on the palate. Very well balanced with a very long persistence.
FOOD PAIRINGS
This “sweet not sweet” wine goes well with dry pastries and non creamy desserts but also with goose liver and smoked fish appetizers. Must try with spicy cheeses.
