THE WINE

The Cabernet Franc of the Zorzettig winery is produced with 100%  Cabernet Franc grapes grown in the municipality of Spessa di Cividale in the eastern hills of Friuli. This vine imported from France is widely cultivated in Friuli Venezia Giulia; and it is precisely in this region that, thanks to the quality of the soil and the microclimate, it gives its best.

THE WINEMAKING

The harvest is strictly manual and only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar. Both the winemaking and the aging are monitored with extreme attention. And once bottled the wine rests for a few months in the cellar before being put on the market.

THE TASTING

Ruby red  with violet reflections. The aroma is intense with a pleasant herbaceous note. Full and well balanced on the palate with a perfect correspondence between aromas and flavor.

FOOD PAIRINGS

Excellent with red meats, game but also with hard cheeses.
