The Wine
This Classic Method Brut Nature is the latest born of the Vigna Lenuzza winery. It is bland, 70% Ribolla Gialla and 30% Pinot Noir, both grown in the vineyards owned by the winery in the Prepotto area in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The winery is certified organic and the owners call themselves “bio in the soul”; The Lenuzza family firmly believes that “The earth does not belong only to us. It must be respected in order to be passed down from generation to generation”
THE WINEMAKING
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes go to the cellar for winemaking. It starts with a soft pressing at a controlled temperature, followed by a natural fermentation. The wine is then bottled for the second fermentation in the spring following the harvest and ages in the bottle on the lees for about 24 months. The winery decided not to add added sugars to allow the wine to maintain an incredible finesse and pure character.
THE TASTING
Pale yellow with almost pinkish gold reflections; the perlage is fine and persistent. The aroma is elegant, with pleasant floral notes that intertwine with subtle citrus scents. Incredibly fresh on the palate, it has pleasant mineral notes. This wine is an innovative classic method which is also very well balanced

Perfect as an aperitif, this wine goes well with fish, soft cheeses, and white meats.
