THE WINE
The Borgofulvia Sparkling wine extra dry is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes produced in the company-owned winery in Montale near Piacenza. This sparkling wine tells the story of the excellence of the territory, ideal for a party with friends, a family dinner or a special event with an easy and pleasant toast that satisfies all palates.
We are in Piacenza in Emilia Romagna; Borgofulvia is part of the 4 Valli winery, born from the union of two families more than three centuries ago and which continues to carry on its philosophy for five generations.
THE WINEMAKING
After the harvest, the selected grapes are taken to the cellar and softly pressed. Fermentation occurs in steel tanks. The wine moves to the autoclave for the sparkling process for a few months at a constant low temperature. In the spring following the harvest, the sparkling wine is bottled and left to rest for a few months in the cellar before being released onto the market.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow with fine perlage; the aroma is intense with pleasant fruity hints of apple and pear that intertwine with citrus notes. Soft on the palate with a good correspondence between aromas and flavour. Pleasantly mineral, it invites you to drink.

THE WINERY
Borgofulvia is part of Cantina4Valli winery, an institution in the Piacenza area of Emilia Romagna. A family-run winery that has been running for three centuries, the Ferrari and Perini families met for the first time in 1882 and have since written the history of Piacenza and Italian wine together.
