The wine from Tiare winery
The Pinot Grigio Masserè from the Tiare winery is crafted exclusively from Pinot Grigio grapes grown in the company’s vineyards in Dolegna del Collio, in the heart of the DOC Collio region. This area is renowned for its soil composition, rich in stratified marl and sandstone, giving the wines unique characteristics.
Tiare produces only this macerated Pinot Grigio from the oldest Pinot Grigio vines.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is done exclusively by hand during the first ten days of September. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, the winemaking process begins with an overnight maceration. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures, using only selected yeasts; the wine ages throughout the winter, 80% in stainless steel and 20% in wooden barrels. At the end of February, the wine is blended, bottled, and allowed to rest for a few more months in the cellar before being released to the market.

This wine has a golden yellow colour with coppery reflections. The aroma is pleasant and intense, featuring fruity notes complemented by light hints of vanilla. It is well-balanced on the palate, incredibly fresh, and elegant, with a long and persistent finish.
