The Spring of Prosecco has just begun on the Treviso hills in the region Veneto (north east of Italy). This is an enoturistic review dedicated to the most popular bubbles in Italy. It will run from March 17th to June 10th.

This food and wine festival hosts the traditional Wine Exhibitions. Born from the conviviality of local producers, who every year at the end of the Spring, when the wine of the last harvest was ready to be served, offered it for tasting at the exit of the Churches and in the festivals. Thus tradition developed over the years and today we have the 17 Exhibitions that give life to the current Spring of Prosecco Superiore.

Itinerary and proposals

There are many and varied proposals. Thanks to the 17 stages of the route, you can get lost on the Alta Marca hills and discover small villages, old churches and old castles. Or immerse yourself in the DOCG Conegliano-Valdobbiadene vineyards in search of the wineries.

The Spring of Prosecco was born to be a journey through the streets, the paths, the ancient villages, the rows of vines, the cellars, the exhibitions. The appointment is not only wine but also food: to accompany the tastings there is nothing better than the excellent local productions. The cheeses, the traditional cold cuts, chestnuts and mushrooms picked up in the woods that border the vineyards, the potatoes of the Quartier del Piave, the honey and the oil of the Pedemontana, the field herbs and the king of the table, the Altamarca broach.

Culture

All visitors to the Wine Exhibitions can also collect a voucher for reduced admission to the Museums; this voucher can be used during the months of the Exhibition. And, in the year that celebrates the centenary of the Great War, the Spring of Prosecco will offer the opportunity to travel through history, through guided tours, sporting events and cultural meetings related to this tragic event that has deeply marked the territory.

Art, nature, relaxation and good food will therefore be the key to live a unique experience in the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene.
