Porto Cervo Wine & Food Festival 2018

The tenth edition of the Porto Cervo Wine & Food Festival is just around the corner. This year from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 May. It is an event dedicated to the best of Sardinian and national wine and food production, organized by the Cala di Volpe, Cervo, Pitrizza and Romazzino hotels.

Big names and small producers will be guests at the Cervo Conference Center to make their productions known to a selected audience of operators, journalists, international buyers and guests of the Costa Smeralda. It will be a weekend of tastings, meetings, book presentations and show cooking.

Events

During this unique event it will be possible to attend several interesting conferences: “Sardinia: the cheese island” of Friday 18 May 2018, “Wine as an element of territorial marketing” of the following year. Not only will we talk about wine, in fact with the conference “Italian beer: global, local or craft?” Even hops fans will find a space. During the last day, however, the master pizza maker Enzo Coccia will present the book “Pizza frizza” that is possible.

The Location

Obviously, in addition to the large number of events, it is imperative to visit the wonders offered by the magical location. Undisputed capital of the Costa Smeralda, Porto Cervo is a fraction of the Gallura center of Arzachena, with a few hundred residents. The village on the sea has risen around a natural inlet reminiscent of a deer. The center is built on a mezzanine level compared to the port. From the Piazzetta delle Chiacchiere to Sottopiazza is a series of alleyways, windows, balconies, built in the style of the Costa Smeralda, and shops and boutiques with prestigious names, while all around the most prestigious restaurants, luxury hotels, fashionable, center of the night life of the coast, and the splendid villas climb up the surrounding hills.
