Savory pie with smoked salmon, ricotta and cherry tomatoes.

I recently discovered the recipe for the savory pie with smoked salmon, ricotta and cherry tomatoes. A tasty and tasty dish. Contains smoked salmon, a food rich in protein, but also very greedy.

Perfect with a glass of fresh white wine, especially if sparkling.

Ingredients

1 roll of puff pastry

150 g of smoked salmon

250 g of ricotta

2 eggs

180 g of cherry tomatoes

2 tablespoons of Parmigiano Reggiano

enough nutmeg

enough of salt

Preparation

Making the savory pie with smoked salmon, ricotta and cherry tomatoes is quite simple and quick: first wash and dry the cherry tomatoes carefully. Cut them in half lengthwise and keep them aside.

Now take a large bowl and put the cow’s milk ricotta, a pinch of salt and a nutmeg inside. Separately, beat the eggs lightly and add a pinch of salt and 1 tablespoon of fresh grated Parmigiano Reggiano. Add the eggs to the ricotta and mix carefully.

Chop the smoked salmon with a knife and add it to the egg and ricotta mixture. Mix carefully and lastly add the datterini tomatoes cut in half. Separately roll out the fresh puff pastry (better if round) and place it on a round baking pan with a diameter of 22-24 cm.

Prick the bottom of the puff pastry using a fork and pour the previously prepared filling inside. Fold the edges of the puff pastry inwards, sprinkle with the remaining spoon of Parmigiano Reggiano and bake the pie in a static oven at 180-190 ° C for about 40-45 minutes (cooking and timing vary from oven to oven) ). When the savory pie is cooked, turn it off and let it cool before consuming it. Excellent both lukewarm and at room temperature.

I hope this recipe will please you, if you try let me know if you have appreciated!

Good day
