Ar.Pe.Pe winery
the right time for Nebbiolo
The Excellence of Nebbiolo in Valtellina
Ar.Pe.Pe. is a historic winery in Valtellina that has made Nebbiolo delle Alpi, locally known as Chiavennasca, its flagship wine. Founded in 1984 by Arturo Pelizzatti Perego, the winery is now led by the fifth generation of the family, who continue the tradition of viticulture that respects both heritage and the local territory.
The Territory and Philosophy
The vineyards of Ar.Pe.Pe. are situated on steep terraces supported by dry stone walls at altitudes ranging from 350 to 700 meters above sea level. This unique environment, characterized by sandy soil and an Alpine climate, produces wines with exceptional freshness and minerality. The winery follows slow and natural production rhythms, with long macerations, ageing in large wooden barrels, and meticulous attention to quality are the cornerstones of its practices.
