The B.S.T.Syrah & Merlot from the Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonary winery is a member of the B.S.T. (Baby Super Tuscan) family. This wine embodies the youthful evolution of Tuscan winemaking. Thanks to the characteristics of Syrah, this wine is aromatic and spicy, while Merlot adds intensity and captivates the senses.

THE WINEMAKING

After the manual harvest, the selected grapes are promptly taken to the cellar for winemaking. This process begins with a maceration on the skin lasting about four weeks. Fermentation occurs in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged in these tanks after blending and remains in the cellar for several months before being released to the market.

Tasting the wine

The wine is a deep purple-red with violet reflections; its aroma is pleasant and fruity, featuring notes of blackberries and currants, along with subtle hints of black pepper. On the palate, this BST Syrah and Merlot blend is full-bodied and well-structured, offering a fresh and intense finish that invites you to enjoy another sip.
