The wine Cabernet Franc Bio by Antico Broilo winery
The Cabernet Franc or from the Antico Broilo winery is produced with 100% Cabernet Franc grapes belonging to a selection of vines that are 40 to 60 years old. It is perfect for those who want to rediscover an excellent Cabernet Franc of the past and is one of the few wines that every year manages to amaze for its quality, both in cold years and in warmer ones.
With only six hectares of production, this small winery is managed by the Giovanni, Massimo, Patrizia, or the Dri family. They carry on the business with full respect for tradition and nature. The winery is certified organic.
THE WINEMAKING
The grapes are harvested manually and placed in boxes to keep the bunch as intact as possible. The winemaking and fermentation are traditional and spontaneous, and only indigenous yeasts are used. The wine then ages in barrique and tonneau for 24 months.
Tasting the wine by Antico Broilo
Intense ruby red with some violet reflections. The aroma is elegant with herbaceous hints, typical of this vine. Warm and well structured on the palate; a great refined and elegant wine with velvety tannins. Excellent correspondence between taste and aromas. Persistence is also good.
FOOD PAIRINGS
It goes well with pasta dishes with meat sauces, cold cuts and cheeses typical of the area. Also, try it with white meat.
