The Product

Caol Ila is a large distillery located on Islay, the “Queen of the Hebrides” island. We are in the north of Scotland, where the lands are fertile and the water is pure. Thanks to the sea breeze, the best peated single malt whiskeys are born here.

This whiskey was distilled in 2014 and aged six years in American oak barrels where bourbon had previously aged. It was bottled in 2022 by Wilson & Morgan cold, without filtration, and without the addition of colourings. The number of bottles available is minimal.

It is a strong whiskey with a lot of personality. The colour is intense, and the aroma is very smoky, with pleasant notes of coffee, leather and damp earth to leave room for hints of lemons and sea herbs. Fresh and clean on the palate, with an outstanding balance. The smoked flavour manages not to hide the aromas and taste, delicately spicy and vanilla.

Thanks to its harmony, this whiskey is loved by all liqueur lovers and not just by connoisseurs.
