THE WINE
The Champagne Brut, Cuvée Prestige, of Taittinger is the flagship of the winery. An elegant champagne obtained from a blend of Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir (30%) and Pinot Meunier (30%) grapes that come from over 50 different particles; a careful selection of the vines owned by the winery.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking. The must ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Once ready, the bland is bottled with the yeasts and left to rest for at least 24 months before disgorging.
THE TASTING
Bright golden yellow, with a very fine and resistant perlage. The aroma is fresh with pleasant floral notes that alternate with fruity scents; the finish is embellished with hints of yeast and pastry puffs. Full-bodied and well balanced on the palate with an incredible mineral and refreshing note. The persistence is also perfect.
FOOD PAIRINGS
The ideal bubble for your aperitifs that it also goes well with fish and seafood.
