The Sparkling wine Pink Brut Rosé
The Pink Brut Rosato from the Pittaro winery is a quality champagne method sparkling wine. Produced with Pinot Noir (80%) and Chardonnay (20%) grapes grown on the Grave plains of Friuli where the alluvial soil is poor but particularly suitable for growing vines.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest takes place at the end of August and once in the cellar, the grapes are wine made separately. Pinot Noir macerates on the skins at low temperatures for 12 hours; after soft pressing it rests in steel. The Chardonnay instead ferments in barrique, The assembly of the cuvée is done at the end of the winter and bottling in the late following spring. Once bottled, the wine refines “sur lie” for at least 24 mersi. The disgorgement date is indicated on the label with the month and year.
Tasting the Sparkling wine Pink Brut Rosé by Pittaro
Of medium intensity pink with a fine and persistent perlage. The aroma is delicate with pleasant notes of red fruits that intertwine well with scents of bread crust. Fresh and well balanced on the palate, it has a good structure.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with fish even raw. Must try with amberjack tartare.
