The Wine
TheChardonnay from the Hofstatter winery is produced with 100% Chardonnayr grapes grown and selected in the vineyards owned by the winery. Thanks to the microclimate and the ideal position, this area is suitable for growing vines. In particular, this Chardonnay is a fresh wine with an intense and persistent taste, perfect for an evening with friends.
THE WINEMAKING
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes are taken to the cellar for winemaking. The grapes are destemmed softly pressed, and gravity clarifies the must overnight. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature. Regarding refinement, the wine rests for a few months in steel on the fine yeasts. After blending and bottling, the wine rests in the cellar for a few more months before being placed on the market.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow with greenish reflections. The aroma is pleasantly fruity, where the characteristic notes of golden apple are enhanced. Fresh and intense on the palate. The correspondence between aromas and flavour is also excellent, with a long and persistent finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with fish and semi-hard cheeses. To try with pasta with vegetable sauces.
