The Pinot Bianco from the Crastin winery
The Pinot Bianco from the Crastin Winery is a white wine produced with 100% Pinot Bianco grapes grown on the hill named Rottars in the DOC Collio denomination of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The Crastin company is a historical reality of the territory, with a long tradition of cultivating indigenous grape varieties and producing quality wines. The Pinot Bianco is appreciated for its organoleptic characteristics and its versatility at the table.
The Winemaking
The grapes are harvested strictly by hand, placed in crates and brought immediately to the winery for vinification. After a careful selection, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing to extract the must, which then ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine ages for several months on the fine lees, and after blending and bottling, it rests for a few more months in the cellar before being released on the market.
