THE WINE
The Crémant Vouvray Méthode Traditionnelle Brut from the Domaine Vincent Carême winery is produced with 100% Chenin Blanc grapes from the vineyards owned by the winery that are located in the Loire valley. Cultivation is strictly organic and the grape harvest is strictly manual.
THE WINEMAKING
Once in the cellar, the grapes are carefully selected. Fermentation in steel takes place with the sole use of indigenous yeasts. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle in compliance with the dictates of the champagne method.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow with a fine and persistent perlage. The aroma is rich with pleasant fruity hints of apricot and peach that intertwine with citrus notes.You can also perceive floral hints to close with the unmistakable bread crust. Fresh and light on the palate with a perfect match between aromas and flavor. Also the persistence is good.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect as an aperitif, it should be tried with raw and marinated salmon but also with desserts and in particular with the chocolate cake.
