The Wine
The Prosecco Doc Treviso extra dry from the La Marca winery comes from 100% Glera grapes grown in the vineyards owned by the winery in the Treviso area, in the heart of the Treviso DOC. This prosecco perfectly expresses the enological heritage of the territory from which it comes. Fresh and balanced, perfect for all occasions.
THE WINEMAKING
After the grape harvest, only the selected grapes go to the cellar for winemaking. Winemaking starts with a delicate pressing; the must ferments at a temperature of 15°C for about 15/20 days in steel. After a period of refinement, the wine moves to an autoclave for the second fermentation (Charmat method). Once bottled, the wine rests for a short time in the cellar before being placed on the mark.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow with a fine and persistent perlage; the aroma is fresh with pleasant citrus notes that alternate with hints of white peach and quince to allow the emergence of rose scents and bread crust fragrances. Extremely balanced on the palate; fresh with good acidity and critical persistence.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with fish and white meats. Try it with crostini with mortadella.
