The Product
Sapori di Casa was born in Sequals in Friuli Venezia Giulia in 1997, thanks to Maria Pia and Claudio Iacoponi. The two have always shared a passion for homemade pasta and the desire to merge the culinary traditions of their homelands, namely Friuli and the Marche.
In recent years their children, Fabiola, Federico, and Federico’s wife, Clementina, have joined the team of pasta producers, each one with their tasks. Maria Pia follows the field of food safety. Federico is in charge of marketing. Claudio manages sales and distribution while Fabiola takes care of the administration and Clementina of the production department.
In the Iacoponi family, the habit of gathering everyone at the table on Sundays with a good plate of freshly made Tagliatelle has been handed down for generations. That habit, which has become a tradition, led Claudio and Maria Pia to “add seats at the table” and sell egg Tagliatelle in local shops and restaurants..
