THE WINE
Fichimori Rosso is a very peculiar wine; in fact it gives its best when served cold (at 6 ° – 8 °). Fichimori is produced with 100% Negroamaro grapes grown in the Salento plains in Puglia.
THE WINEMAKING
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes are cold macerated for 5 days before the fermentation. This technique allows to extract aromas and color, ignoring the tannins. The wine ages for a few months in steel before being bottled.
THE TASTING
Purple red with violet reflections. The aroma is very pleasant with intense notes of red fruits in particular of strawberry, cherry and raspberry. Fresh on the palate with a perfect match between aromas and flavor. Very pleasant.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect as an aperitif together with finger food, it is excellent with fish, sushi but also with pizza. Try it after dinner as a refreshing drink.
