THE WINE
The Franconia of the Zorzettig winery is produced with 100% Franconia grapes grown in the municipality of Spessa di Cividale in the eastern hills of Friuli. From this vine of Austrian origin, the winery creates a wine with a particular sugar residue given by a slight withering of a percentage of the grapes used.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar. Both the winemaking and the aging are monitored with extreme attention. And once bottled the wine rests for a few months in the cellar before being put on the market.
THE TASTING
Ruby red. The aroma is intense with pleasant notes of ripe red fruits such as raspberry and strawberry. Soft and aromatic on the palate with a perfect match between aromas and flavor.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect with spiced white meats, a must try with dry pastry.
