The Wine
The Friulano of the Vigna Lenuzza winery is produced with 100% Friulano grapes grown in the Prepotto area. The winery is certified organic and the owners call themselves “bio in the soul”; The Lenuzza family firmly believes that “The earth does not belong only to us. It must be respected in order to be passed down from generation to generation”
THE WINEMAKING
After the manual harvest, the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C for a period of 30-40 days. The aging continues in steel. The wine is then bottled in the month of February following the harvest.
THE TASTING
Intense straw yellow. The aroma is intense with pleasant fruity notes that intertwine with floral hints. Dry and well structured on the palate, the finish is incredibly persistent and characterized by the unmistakable hint of bitter almond, typical of the grape variety.
FOOD PAIRINGS
It goes well with fish, white meats and soft cheeses. Try it with San Daniele raw ham.
