The wine from Madonna Delle Vittorie
The sparkling brut Millesimato Blanc de Blancs from the Madonna Delle Vittorie winery is crafted exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in the winery’s vineyards, located between Arco and Nago-Torbole in the province of Trento. This region is characterized by its windy conditions and is situated just a few kilometres from the winery.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is performed entirely by hand. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes are destemmed, crushed, and gently pressed; only the free-run must is utilized for this sparkling wine. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine matures in these tanks until late spring. Between the months of May and June, it is bottled for the secondary fermentation, where it rests on the lees for thirty-six months. After disgorging, the wine ages for several additional months in the cellar before being released to the market.
