THE WINE
The Friulano Untitled of the Villa Job winery is produced with 100% Friulano grapes grown in the vineyards owned by the winery, which are located in the area of Pozzuolo del Friuli in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 90 meters above sea level; here the soil is rich in marl, clay and silt. The winery follows the dictates of organic agriculture with the integration of some biodynamic cultivation practices. In short, a 100% natural wine!
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is manual and once in the cellar only the selected grapes are wine made. The winemaking takes place in steel tanks, with the sole use of indigenous yeasts. The must remains in contact with its skins for about 2 days. The wine then ages for a few months in concrete tanks and for 9 months in barrique. After assembly and bottling without filtering, the bottles rest for a few months in the cellar before being placed on the market.
THE TASTING
Deep straw yellow. The aroma is intense and complex with pleasant notes of ripe fruit alternating with hints of aromatic herbs. Soft and round on the palate, with a pleasant freshness and minerality. This Untitled fully represents the most representative vine of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
