The Product
The Pungitopo grappa of the Premiata Distilleria Pagura is produced with a mix of white and red pomace, of local winemakers. It is a young grappa that is infused with the Pungitopo (wild Asparagus) just picked.
The wild asparagus gives the grappa a very characteristic, herbaceous and intense aroma. Excellent after a meal as a digestive. The grappa keeps the the essence of the wild asparagus unchanged over time but it is recommended to remove it once it is no longer completely covered by the liquid.
