THE PRODUCT

The Guatemala XO 20th Anniversary Rum Nation limited edition is a light and easy rum but complex, sweet and velvety thanks to the additional aging period. In fact this rum spends 16 more months in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez barrels.

The Nation project is an idea of the winemaker Fabio Rossi, who loves to select different Caribbean Rum barrels and then personally takes care of both the refinement and the bottling.

Mahogany color. The aroma is delicate but rich, honeyed hints alternate with notes of ripe dates, vanilla, chocolate and lots of raisins. Rich and creamy on the palate; the burning of alcohol is not perceived. Sweet, honeyed, with notes of butter pastry and lots of ripe fruit; the same that can be perceived on the nose with the addition of a touch of toasted nuts, and a refreshing hint of candied orange.

As for the aftertaste, it is sweet, warm, with evident notes of wine and raisin thanks to the time spent in sherry barrels. There is also a pleasant taste of sweet licorice.
