Bräu im Moos Radler is a refreshing beverage produced by the Bräu im Moos brewery, located in the picturesque village of Tüßling in Upper Bavaria, Germany. This region is renowned for its rich brewing tradition and the quality of its craft beers. The Radler, a drink that combines beer with lemonade or lemon-lime soda, is particularly popular in Germany during the summer months, thanks to its thirst-quenching and refreshing qualities. Bräu im Moos Radler stands out for its ability to maintain a balance between the taste of beer and the citrusy flavor of lemonade, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a light and pleasant drink to enjoy on a hot summer day.
Taste Profile and Composition
With an alcohol content of 2.6%, Bräu im Moos Radler offers a light drinking experience. Despite its low alcohol content, it manages to maintain a distinctive beer flavor, setting it apart from other, sweeter, and less balanced Radlers. On the palate, this beverage presents an initially sweet and citrusy taste, followed by a slight bitterness reminiscent of the beer used in its production. It is this combination that makes it particularly appreciated by those who desire a Radler that is not overly sweet. The aromatic profile is dominated by notes of lemon and lime, which harmoniously blend with the light malt of the beer, creating a perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness.
Pairings and Occasions for Consumption
Bräu im Moos Radler is an extremely versatile drink that lends itself to numerous culinary pairings. Thanks to its lightness and freshness, it pairs well with light dishes such as salads, grilled fish, and white meats. Additionally, it is ideal for accompanying vegetarian cuisine, where its citrusy taste can enhance the fresh flavors of vegetables. It is perfect for serving during picnics, summer barbecues, or simply as an aperitif in the company of friends. Its refreshing nature also makes it an excellent choice for outdoor social events, ensuring a pleasant drinking experience for everyone, even those who prefer low-alcohol beverages. In summary, Bräu im Moos Radler is a drink that embodies the essence of summer, combining tradition and innovation to offer a unique and satisfying taste experience.
The Brewery
It has been the brewery of the Munch family since 1870; brewers for 5 generations who put the quality of raw materials and the final product first. For their beers, the Brau im Moss brewery uses only fine aromatic hops produced in Hallertau (region of central – southern Bavaria), a quality malt rich in taste and spring water present on the brewery area.
The beers are naturally produced; they are neither boiled nor pasteurized. The combination of raw materials and the artisan production process give these beers a unique and incomparable taste.
