THE PRODUCT

The Jamaica 5 y.o. is a very robust, aromatic and spicy Jamaican rum. It becomes more gentle and round thanks to the vinous and sultanas influence present in the barrels previously used for sherry.

The Nation project is an idea of the winemaker Fabio Rossi, who loves to select different Caribbean Rum barrels and then personally takes care of both the refinement and the bottling.

Dark gold, with apricot reflections. The aroma is deep and balsamic, with spicy notes of cinnamon, raisins and aromatic herbs that intertwine with hints of noble wood. On the palate all the aromas are found and more are added; you can taste resin, pine and black pepper. There is an underlying sweetness, but the overall impression is dry and spicy.

As for the aftertaste, the Jamaica 5 y.o is warm, peppery and lively. The biting note typical of Jamaican rums persists on the tongue for a long time.
