THE WINE
The wine “L’Isola” of the Hibiscus winery is a bland of Inzolia and Cataratto grapes grown organically in the vineyards owned by the winery; vineyards located on the island of Ustica where the soils are of volcanic origin. It is a wine that tastes of sea, heat, sun, in short, a wine that well represents Sicily!
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking. After fermentation, the wine ages for about 6 months in steel and after bottling, it rests for another 3 months in the cellar before being placed on the market.
THE TASTING
Brilliant straw yellow. The aroma is pleasant with floral notes that intertwine with fruity scents that leave room for salty and mineral hints of Mediterranean scrub. Dry on the palate with good acidity and an enviable flavor.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect with fish, soft cheeses and vegetable-based dishes. Also try it as an aperitif with appetizers.
