Il Botanico, gin from the 359 Gin distillery
Il Botanico gin, born in Crevenna, a hamlet of the municipality of Erba in Lombardy at 359 meters above sea level, is a combination of juniper, angelica and coriander balanced by citrus essential oils; it is the Distillery’s classic Dry Gin, ideal for drinking with friends because it adapts to everyone’s tastes.
The Tasting
The nose immediately highlights the notes of bergamot that alternate with hints of citrus, the sourness of lemon and the sweetness of mandarin. On the palate, the fresh and aromatic flavour of juniper is compared with the delicate taste of angelica and leaves room for the intense scent of dried coriander fruits.
It is a dry and well-balanced gin where the simplicity of the botanicals is enhanced.
How to Drink It
Excellent on its own, it is great with an excellent tonic and a few juniper berries. A quality gin with simple ingredients.
The Distillery 359 Gin
359 Gin was born thanks to the friendship between Paolo and Pier, two guys who have always shared a passion for fine drinking.
359 gin history began in Crevenna, a hamlet in the municipality of Erba, Lombardy, located 359 meters above sea level. Paolo, a bartender fond of gin, teamed up with Pier, a socialite who enjoys going out with friends; encouraged by his trusted bartender, Pier gave gin a try, and from that moment, their passion for this spirit ignited. A little out of fun and a little for experimentation, the two friends started the new business.
