THE WINE
Mario Schiopetto or “Il Mario”, as it is called in the winery, represents the top quality of the Schiopetto line. It is produced with 95% Friulano and 5% Riesling grapes. This white wine reveals the quintessence of the Capriva del Friuli territory and is produced only in great vintages.
The harvest is strictly manual and takes place at the beginning of September. Once in the cellar, only the selected grapes are wine made. Fermentation takes place in steel, at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C. The wine ages for about 9 months in steel and after bottling it refines for another 6 months in the cellar before being placed on the market.
Straw yellow with violet reflections. The aroma is very elegant with pleasant fruity notes that alternate well with hints of medicinal herbs to close with the classic almond scent. Harmonious and elegant on the palate with pleasant mineral notes and a perfect match between aromas and flavor. Very long persistence
Perfect with fish and white meats. Must try with spaghetti with lobster.
