The Ribolla Gialla Wine from Valpanera Winery
The Ribolla Gialla wine from Valpanera Winery comes from 100% Ribolla Gialla grapes, growing in the company’s vineyards near Cortona di Fiumicello, where the Torre stream once flowed. The soils in this area are rich in limestone and primarily consist of silt, sand, and gravel.
This wine is complex and has a velvety freshness, making it ideal for all occasions with family and friends.
THE WINEMAKING
The grape harvest is done manually in the first half of September. Once in the cellar, winemaking starts with a twenty-four-hour maceration at a controlled temperature of 5°C. The must undergoes fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, and the ageing process occurs exclusively in steel. After blending and bottling, the wine rests for several additional months in the cellar before being released to the market.
Tasting the wine by Valpanera
Straw yellow, with an intense aroma featuring delightful fruity scents that blend with floral notes, complemented by hints of aromatic herbs. It is smooth and savoury on the palate, providing a well-balanced experience with a strong connection between its aromas and flavours. The finish is long, inviting you to take another sip.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Ribolla Gialla Valpanera is an excellent aperitif that pairs well with fish dishes, including raw preparations and complements white meat. It is particularly delicious with sushi.
