THE WINE
The Monferrato Rosso “Panta Rei” is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Barbera grapes in percentages that vary according to the vintage. The Rinaldi winery is located in Ricaldone, on the hills of the upper Monferrato, near the city of Aqui Terme. It is one of the most suitable areas of southern Piedmont for the production of fine wines known throughout the world.
The Rinaldi winery is a family-run company was founded in 1961 and owns over 20 hectares of land. The vineyards are located in a suggestive landscape, with climatic characteristics and calcareous-clayey soil that favor the production of different qualities of grapes.
The family’s commitment is to produced wine by maintaining the old tradition with the help of the modern technologies.
THE WINEMAKING
The grapes are harvested manually and only the selected ones are taken to the cellar for winemaking. After destemming, the fermentation takes place in steel tanks where the most macerate on the skins for at least 10-12 days. Aging is carried out in oak barrels.
THE TASTING
Intense ruby red. The aroma is persistent where notes of blackberry and plum alternate with spicy hints of chocolate. Persistent on the palate. Soft wine.
