The Wine
Ribolla Gialla is an autochthonous vine of Friuli VG, and the one of the Vigna Lenuzza winery is produced with 100% Ribolla Gialla grapes grown in the Prepotto area. The winery is certified organic and the owners call themselves “bio in the soul”; The Lenuzza family firmly believes that “The earth does not belong only to us. It must be respected in order to be passed down from generation to generation”
THE WINEMAKING
After the manual harvest, the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C for a period of 30-40 days. The aging continues in steel. The wine is then bottled in the month of February following the harvest.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow. The aroma is delicate with hints of yellow-fleshed fruit that mix with hints of acacia flowers. Very fresh on the palate dry and savory. Also the persistence is excellent.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Goes well with fish (also fried), white meats and soft cheeses. Must try with vegetable velvets.
