The wine Le Liti from the I Sabbioni winery
Le Liti is a wine from the I Sabbioni winery, characterized by a savory profile and delicate, clear fruit. It stands out for its freshness and the elegance of an agile palate, representing a Sangiovese that embodies the Romagnolo tradition. The name of the wine is a tribute to Dino Zoli’s childhood years, evoking the rural world and memories of games and disputes among children in large families, immersed in farm work.
The winemaking
The harvest is strictly manual and takes place in the second decade of September. This wine, a Romagna Sangiovese Superiore, is produced in Castiglione di Forlì. It is made from pure Sangiovese, using Romagnolo clones with large berries. The vinification process involves fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperatures, followed by an average maceration of 25 days. Aging lasts for 6 months in steel and at least 6 months in the bottle, allowing the wine to fully express its characteristics before being released to the market.
