The wine Pinot Bianco from Picech winery
The Pinot Bianco from the Picech winery is produced with 100% Pinot Bianco grapes grown on the Pradis hills between Cormons and Gorizia, not far from the Slovenian border. We are talking about a special wine; only 3000 to 4000 bottles are produced per year.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is manual and only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking. After a quick maceration which lasts about 6 hours, the grapes are softly pressed. The must is then decanted statically at a controlled temperature of about 14 ° C. The wine ages in steel on the lees for 8 months. Assembly and bottling follows,
Tasting the wine by Picech
Bright straw yellow. The aroma is delicate with pleasant fruity hints that intertwine with floral notes which in turn leave room for light sweet hints of honey and white chocolate. Well structured on the palate with an excellent acidic note and a very long persistence.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect with fish, also raw, and shellfish, Must try with mushrooms.
