The Sauvignon from Tenuta Ronco dei Folo comes from 100% Sauvignon grapes sourced near Prepotto in the DOC Collio region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The estate is part of the Folonari family, known for their commitment to producing high-quality Friulian white wines that are celebrated worldwide while being environmentally friendly. This Sauvignon like all Ronco dei Folo wines, is certified organic.
THE WINEMAKING
Following a strict manual harvest, the selected grapes go to the cellar for winemaking, starting with a gentle press. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures. After racking, the wine ages on the lees in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then blended and bottled in the spring following the harvest. Bottles rest for a few additional months in the cellar before being released to the market.

The aroma features pleasant hints of wildflowers, complemented by notes of elderberry. These transitions give way to fruity puffs of exotic fruit, with a closing touch of peach and the classic scent of tomato leaf.
