The Wine
The Prosecco Extra Dry DOC Treviso of the Bortoluz winery is produced with 100% Glera grapes grown on the hills of the municipality of Valdobbiadene at a height that varies between 200 and 300 meters above sea level. This prosecco is called 3 Borghi because the vineyards are located in three different villages in the municipality of Valdobbiadene.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking. Winemaking that begins with a soft pressing, followed by a cold static decantation. The must then ferments at a controlled temperature. Follows the sparkling wine process in autoclave where the wine ages for about 50 days. Once bottled, this prosecco rests for a short period in the cellar before being placed on the market.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow with a fine and persistent perlage and a creamy mousse. Fresh and fruity on the palate with pleasant hints fwhite peach, apple, and pear that leave room for light citrus notes and scents of acacia flowers and roses. Dry and savory on the palate, an elegant and harmonious Prosecco with good persistence.
