The Wine
The Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze DOCG from the La Marca winery is a refined sparkling wine that is produced in a small area of 107 hectares, between the steepest hills of the municipality of Valdobbiadene.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking. After a delicate pressing, the free-run must ferments at a temperature of 15 ° C for about 15/20 days. The second fermentation is carried out with the Charmat method at 14°C.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow with a fine and persistent perlage and a creamy mousse. The aroma is intense, with pleasant fruity notes of apple, pear, and apricot that alternate with hints of roses. Enveloping and juicy on the palate with a perfect correspondence between the aroma and the flavor. Very fresh.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Excellent as an aperitif, it is enhanced with desserts; must try with the peach tarte tatin or the strawberry millefeuille.
