The Wine
The vintage Prosecco Rosé of the La Marca winery is produced with the encounter of Pinot Noir (15%) with Glera grape (85%) which is the typical grape of Prosecco
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual. Once in the cellar, the Glera grapes are wine made in a traditional way; after a soft pressing of the grapes, a short cryomaceration is carried out. Pinot Noir, on the other hand, macerates on the skins for 5 days at a temperature of 20 ° C. After racking, the must ferments at a controlled temperature of 15-16 ° C. Follows the blending of the two wines before moving in autoclave on selected yeasts for the second fermentation with the Martinotti method.
THE TASTING
Light raspberry with a fine and persistent perlage and a dense foam. The aroma reminds of the typical bouquet of prosecco that meets the delicate hints of pinot where you can recall raspberry and wild strawberry scents. Velvety and fresh on the palate with an excellent correspondence between aromas and flavor.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with fish and dairy products but must absolutely be tasted with strawberry tarts and forest fruit macarons.
