The wine from the Haras de Pirque winery

The Reserva de Propiedad of the Haras de Pirque winery is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère and Cabernet Franc grapes, coming from the organic vineyards owned by the winery, which are located in the Maipo Valley. The grapes come from selected plots, capable of preserving and enhancing the unique characteristics of this territory.

THE WINEMAKING

The harvest is strictly manual, and the individual plots are wine-made separately to enhance the softness and elegance of the tannins. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is moved to French oak barrels, where the malolactic fermentation and the long months of ageing occur. After blending and bottling, the wine rests in the cellar for a few more months before being placed on the market.

Tasting the Reserva de Propiedad

Vibrant cherry red colour. The aroma is intense with pleasant notes of red fruit such as cherry and raspberry, which intertwine with hints of plum to finish with lovely spicy hints. Soft and fruity on the palate, the tannins are smooth and almost sweet. Persistence is also excellent.

FOOD PAIRINGS

It goes well with red meat, medium-aged cheeses, and pasta with meat sauces. Try it with dried fruit such as almonds and walnuts.
