THE WINE
The Ribolla Gialla of the Blazic winery is produced with 100% Ribolla Gialla grapes, grown in one of the most beautiful wine-growing areas of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region; more precisely in the province of Gorizia which is located in the heart of the DOC Collio. We are talking about one of the most important indigenous wines of the winery and they produce about 6,000 bottles every year.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and the grapes are placed in small boxes. Once in the cellar, the winemaking begins with a 24-hour maceration on the skins followed by fermentation in steel tanks. The wine ages in steel containers and once bottled, it rests for a few months in the cellar before being placed on the market.
THE TASTING
Pale straw yellow with golden reflections. The aroma is elegant and delicate with pleasant floral notes of white and yellow flowers. Velvety on the palate with a good structure which is enhanced by the typical acidity of this wine. Excellent correspondence between aromas and flavor. Persistent.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect as an aperitif, must try with San Daniele raw ham.
