The Product
The Ribolla Gialla Oslavia grappa from the Premiata Distilleria Pagura is produced with a selection of Ribolla Gialla pomace from Oslavia. A place where the wineries have developed a winemaking method that involves a long fermentation of the wine on the skins. This technique allows the grappa to have a large aromatic bouquet and a unique taste.
The grappa is distilled in the traditional way and then ages for 12 months in steel without addition of sugar. We are talking about a quality product with aromas of white flowers, quince and chestnut honey. Very well balanced on the palate, with excellent persistence.
Taste it strictly straight in order to fully enjoy the typicality of the grape variety of origin.
The Distillery
We are in Castions di Zoppola not far from Pordenone (Friuli Venezia Giulia): where the Premiata Distilleria Pagura has its headquarters. It is a wonderful family-run business that for 5 generations has been carrying on the tradition of grappa production.
