The sparkling wine Brut Talento wine from the La Piotta winery is part of the line of sparkling wines produced with Pinot Noir grapes; according to the winery, this vine is the most suitable to express the typicality of the territory. We are in Montaldo Pavese, in the heart of Oltrepò Pavese in the province of Pavia.
The Padroggi family founded the winery in 1985 and has continued its viticulture philosophy. Since 2005, all the wines have been certified organic.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest takes place in the last ten days of August, and only the selected ones are taken to the cellar for winemaking, beginning with a soft pressing. The must ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature; the spring after the harvest, the wine is bottled with the addition of yeasts for the second fermentation and ages for twenty-four months. After disgorging, the wine rests for a few more months in the cellar before being released onto the market.

Straw yellow with a fine and persistent perlage, the aroma is pleasant, with hints of exotic fruit that intertwine with notes of bread crust. Fresh and elegant on the palate, this sparkling wine brut has good acidity and a long, persistent finish.
