DESCRIPTION

Tasting kit: each wine has its characteristics and nuances. Even wines made from the same grapes differ on the palate because many factors influence wine. Climatic factors include the vineyard’s location, the climate, the amount of rain fallen or drought and so on. Then, each winery works differently, with different winemaking times, ageing times, etc.

This is why we thought of creating tasting packages that allow you to discover these differences and, why not, will help you understand which is your favourite wine.

It can also be a fun-tasting night to do with friends.

In this kit, you will find three Apulian reds; we called it Volume 1 because this is the first taste; other volumes will be added soon!

THE WINE

Malvasia Nera – Coribante 2021 – Castello Monaci

Deep ruby red. The aroma is intense with pleasant fruity notes and herbaceous puffs to close with hints of licorice. Harmonious and velvety on the palate, with a good correspondence between aromas and flavor. Pleasantly fresh. additional info here

Aglianico IGT – Petravia – 2018 – Masseria Altemura

Intense ruby red. The aroma is enveloping with fruity aromas of cherry, blackberry, and pear, which alternate with notes of spices such as black pepper and juniper berries. Intense and very well structured on the palate, persistent and fresh with well-present but velvety tannins. additional info here

Era IGP – 2018 – Romaldo Greco

Intense ruby red; the aroma is pleasantly intense with fruity notes of plum and cherry, which leave room for spicy tones to close with light puffs of vanilla. Soft and well-balanced on the palate, this wine from the Romaldo Greco winery has rich but well-smoothed tannins and an excellent correspondence between aromas and flavour.
