DESCRIPTION

Tasting kit: each wine has its characteristics and nuances. Even wines made from the same grapes differ on the palate because many factors influence wine. Climatic factors include the vineyard’s location, the climate, the amount of rain fallen or drought and so on. Then, each winery works differently, with different winemaking times, ageing times, etc.

This is why we thought of creating tasting packages that allow you to discover these differences and, why not, will help you understand which is your favourite wine.

It can also be a fun-tasting night to do with friends.

This is the Friulano kit, a wine very dear to the people of Friuli Venezia Giulia. We chose a wine from the DOC Friuli Venezia Giulia, one from the DOC Collio and one from the DOC Colli Orientali del Friuli.

THE WINE

Friulano DOC Confinis – 2021 – Francesco Rotolo

Straw yellow with greenish reflections. The aroma is fresh and fragrant with notes of exotic fruit such as pineapple and lime that leave room for hints of almond. Fresh and fragrant also on the palate, well structured with a pleasant aftertaste of fresh almonds on the finish. Persistent additional info here

DOC Colli Orientali del Friuli – Friulano – 2022 – Jacuss

Straw yellow with greenish reflections. The aroma is intense with hints of wildflowers, which are well intertwined with notes of fruit and citrus to close with the classic scent of bitter almond, typical of this grape variety. Wide and fresh on the palate with a perfect match between the aromas and the taste.Also the persistence is good..additional info here

Friulano – Collio DOC – 2022 – Blazic

Golden yellow. The aroma is intense with pleasant fruity notes that intertwine with floral scents. Dry and well structured on the palate, the finish is incredibly persistent and characterized by the unmistakable hint of bitter almond, typical of the grape  additional info here
